Multiple paths to competency

We all know trainees take different paths to become skilled or competent.  Badges enable training administrators to recognize this in the training paths and work flows they create.

Assign badges on an ad hoc basis

Badges can be assigned by supervisors, managers and HR.  This is a great way to record external training and qualifications.

Reporting

Badges form the basis of Skills and Competency Matrix Reporting within xapiapps.

xAPI Statements

If you use xapiapps in conjunction with a Learning Record Store, xAPI statements are sent using the xAPI Open Badges recipe.
